Ok I can understand that my parents can be strict about letting me go out and do things, seeing how horrid my grades were at the end of spring. I can't even go out one night a week though! I mean there is only so much schooling I can do in a week, while keeping my sanity. <rant>

Ah, parents. I'll never understand them. I love it when they act more immature than their children, though... -shakes head-

My parents do it a lot. It's sad. This one time I was at my mom's office since I had an appointment to get my teeth cleaned... I'd missed this concert where I was supposed to meet a friend in one of the bands. My mom had looked them up online and saw that they were going to be at Creation West. I'd already told her that I wasn't going to go... it's at least a day's drive and not worth the cost of gas and price of the ticket to go for one band (not to mention taking the time off of work), which she was trying to get me to do. For some reason she brought this up in her office. I kept telling her that I wasn't going to go and I kept explaining why. She just kept going on and on and on so I said it again, slightly louder. Then she got all pissed off at me for "yelling" in her office and not letting her "finish" what she was trying to say... which was pretty much something she'd already said several times. I tried to explain that to her, but she just turned her chair around and started working! She was completely ignoring me. It was so pathetic. I mean, really. How many times did I have to say that I was NOT going to take a day just to drive up there, buy an expensive ticket TO SEE ONE BAND? Cripes. Then she ignores me. ahaha. It really annoyed me at the time that she was being so immature, but it's so laughable now... wow, way to "win" the "argument," mom. You really showed me.

Yeah, it's funny... and she wonders where I got it from I've never been as bad as that (except maybe when I was younger, but aren't all kids?) but holy crap man.

haha. I actually liked the oral surgeries I've had... two dental implants and then my wisdom teeth being removed. This is a different kind of surgery, though. Different Dr. Unfortunately I have to drive over an hour one way to get there, but oh well. This one will change how my smile looks a bit... the others were necessary.
